Rice University provides an optional payment plan that allows parents and students to spread payment of tuition, fees, room and board over the course of the semester, rather than a single payment up-front. The Payment Plan is available for the Fall semester and the Spring semester. The plan is not available for the Summer semester.
How to Enroll
A one-time per semester, non-refundable fee of $75.00 will be charged at the time of enrollment. This must be paid at the time the Payment Plan is created.
Once registered for the payment plan, installment reminders will be sent to the student’s email and to authorized users monthly; paper statements will not be generated.
The first payment is due on the billing due date before classes begin and the next three are due approximately every 30 days. Payment Plans established after semester billing due dates will be required payment of "missed" installments to establish plan.
